It has been suggested that the FD's sail at the PSAC on the weekend of 14 and 15 November. There is no SFS racing that weekend. I have done it before in the 505 and it is a great regatta, good sea breeze, nice place and no ferries. Entry fee is $50 for 4 races. 1pm start on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.

At this stage 2 boats have expressed an interest and we think there might be some very cheap accomodation. Who is interseted tio sail?

Ed, Michael, if you guys talk Alan into sailing a FD in this one is there a boat available for a couple of curious contender sailors?

That shouldn't be a problem, we have a spare boat, and subject to finding a spare trailer we will bring her up for the regatta. Ed

Four FD's made the trip to Port Stephens for some excellent sialing. Perfect sea breezes, no traffic, flat water and an opportuneity to flog all the other classes around the course.

General consensus was I think that we should do this reggat again next year.

Excellent regatta, lots of positive comments from others on the beach about seeing FD's out and about - obviously all jealous they didn't have a proper boat.
