Folks,

Can anyone help with this request.

We are about to take our Castle 650 for a leisurely sail around  the Whitsundays next July, and we feel that the standard rig will be a bit overcanvassed. Rather than run a reefed main for 4 months, we thought an old FD main might do the trick nicely.

Unfortunately our nearest FD mate has made the mistake of cleaning out the shed.....

Does anyone have an old main that could be moved to Bendigo to give it a go. There may be some traditional alcohol bartering involved

Many thanks

Ian

Folks,

To update you on my previous request...

John (Helleconia) has kindly lent us a sail to try out, and it worked better than we could have expected. 25-30 official kts of wind, and a novice helmsan comfortable in control, pleasant cruising in gentler breezes. John has his own future plans, and the sail we borrowed would suit him, and therfore we are not keen on taking his sail , and are still seeking a sail for our Whitsundays trip.

So, if you are contemplating trading in your curent main, and upgrading for the next summer season, please get in touch.

Ian

PS. We have booked John in for his introductions to sailing at the end of the month!
